Young and Invested Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern your membership and use of Young and Invested, operated by [insert registered business name and ABN]. By joining our community or purchasing any of our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Young and Invested

Young and Invested is an online community and education platform helping young people with their money habits, start investing earlier and build wealth on their own terms. We provide general education, curated content and guest speaker sessions on investing and personal finance topics.

2. Not financial advice

Nothing provided by Young and Invested, including content from Jess, guest speakers or community members, constitutes personal financial, legal or tax advice. All content is general in nature and does not take into account your personal circumstances, objectives or needs.

Before making any investment or financial decision, you should consider your own situation and seek advice from a licensed financial adviser, accountant or other qualified professional. Young and Invested does not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence and does not provide personal financial advice.

We make no guarantee about investment outcomes or returns and past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

3. Membership

3.1 Membership gives you access to our community, educational content and scheduled sessions for as long as your subscription remains active.

3.2 Membership fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise agreed) through our payment platform. 

3.3 We may change membership pricing from time to time. Existing members will be given reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for their next billing cycle.

4. Cancellation and refunds

4.1 You can cancel your membership at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will retain access until that date.

4.2 We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused time within a billing period. 

4.3 We may suspend or cancel your membership if payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days.

5. Community conduct

5.1 Young and Invested is a supportive space and we expect all members to treat one another with respect. We may remove content or suspend or terminate membership for behaviour that is abusive, discriminatory, harmful or otherwise breaches our community guidelines.

5.2 You are responsible for anything you post or share within the community. Do not share confidential, offensive or unlawful content.

5.3 Guest speakers and contributors share their own views and expertise. Young and Invested facilitates these sessions but does not guarantee or take responsibility for the accuracy of third party content.

6. Intellectual property

6.1 All content provided through Young and Invested, including videos, written material, templates and community resources, is owned by Young and Invested or used with permission and is protected by copyright.

6.2 Your membership gives you a personal, non transferable licence to use this content for your own learning. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell or publicly share our content without our written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Young and Invested is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our content, community or services, including any decisions you make based on information shared through our platform. Our services are provided on an "as is" basis and we make no warranties about their completeness, accuracy or suitability for your circumstances.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Young and Invested after any changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The most current version will always be available on our website.
